Mobile App — Cross-Platform MVP
- iOS and Android from a single codebase
- Core feature set, launch-ready
- App Store and Play Store submission
- Analytics and crash reporting configured
Cross-platform development from a single codebase — an MVP to test the idea, or a full production build with backend, accounts and payments.
Building separately for iOS and Android roughly doubles the cost and permanently doubles the maintenance. For the overwhelming majority of business apps there is no benefit that justifies it.
We build cross-platform, which means one codebase compiles to both stores. You get native performance, native components, and one thing to maintain rather than two drifting slowly apart.
If you are not certain people will use the app, do not commission the full version. An MVP carries your core feature set, ships to both stores, and includes analytics so you can see what people actually do rather than what you assumed they would.
If usage justifies it, the MVP becomes the foundation of the full build rather than something thrown away. If it doesn't, you have learned that for a fraction of the cost.
Complete feature set with a backend API, user accounts and authentication, push notifications, in-app payments where relevant, offline tolerance for apps used in the field, and full QA across a device matrix rather than just the developer's phone.
App Store and Play Store submission is handled by us, including the review process, which catches people out more often than the development does.
A significant share of our app work is for businesses whose staff are not at desks — HVAC technicians, contractors, delivery teams, inspectors. Those apps have specific requirements: they must work with poor connectivity, sync when signal returns, and be usable one-handed in gloves. We build for that rather than retrofitting it.
Ranges reflect scope. Discovery converts the range into one fixed number, in writing, before anything starts.
A cross-platform MVP runs $1,999 to $4,999. A full production build with backend, accounts and payments runs $4,999 to $10,000. Both are fixed fees quoted against a written scope after a discovery call.
An MVP typically takes 4 to 8 weeks. A full production build runs 2 to 4 months including QA and store submission. Store review itself adds a few days to a couple of weeks depending on the platform and the app.
Yes, included. We prepare the listings, handle the review process and deal with any rejections. Store rejection for policy reasons is common on first submission and is much faster to resolve if you have done it before.
It can, and for field-use apps it should. Offline tolerance with background sync is a scoping decision — tell us during discovery how your users actually work and we will build for those conditions.
Most clients arrive for one of these and stay because the next problem doesn't require finding another vendor.
