Custom Business Software
- Internal tools, dashboards, portals and workflow systems
- Integration with the software you already run
- Web-based, accessible from anywhere
- Source code and documentation handed over
Internal tools, dashboards, portals and full platforms — built around how your business already works, priced at a fixed fee before a line of code is written.
Most businesses start with spreadsheets, then bolt on whatever software solves the immediate problem. It works until it doesn't — usually at the point where three systems hold overlapping copies of the same information and somebody's full-time job has quietly become keeping them in sync.
Custom software is worth building when the cost of that manual reconciliation exceeds the cost of the build. That is a calculation, not a feeling, and it is the first thing we work out with you during discovery. If the numbers don't support it, we say so.
Businesses of roughly 5 to 100 people who have outgrown spreadsheets but for whom enterprise software is both overpriced and a poor fit. If you are being quoted $60,000 for a system whose useful parts you could list on one page, that is usually the moment to talk to us.
Ranges reflect scope. Discovery converts the range into one fixed number, in writing, before anything starts.
Our custom business software engagements run $1,500 to $5,000, and larger multi-user platforms $5,000 to $15,000. The variable is scope — number of screens, user roles, and how many external systems it has to integrate with. You receive one fixed number in writing after a discovery call, and that number does not move unless you change the scope.
A focused internal tool typically takes 3 to 7 weeks. A full platform with roles, permissions and integrations runs 2 to 5 months. Timelines are set in the proposal and we report progress against them weekly.
Yes, in full, on final payment. You receive the code, the documentation and the deployment credentials. We keep no leverage over your ability to hire someone else later — we consider vendor lock-in a failure of professionalism rather than a business model.
That is usually the point. Most engagements involve connecting to an accounting package, CRM, e-commerce platform or scheduling tool you are already committed to. We integrate rather than replace wherever integrating is the cheaper answer.
Most clients arrive for one of these and stay because the next problem doesn't require finding another vendor.
